Denemarken staat te trappelen
In september worden de European Life Goals Games 2021 gehouden. De komende tijd gaan we verschillende deelnemende teams en spelers aan je voorstellen. Het team van Denemarken bijt het spits af. We interviewden teambegeleider Fie Biehl Rotheisen.
“Het is voor onze spelers een geweldige ervaring mee te doen aan een groot toernooi. Het is voor iedereen ook een uitgelezen kans om kennis te maken met mensen uit andere landen. Dat zijn ervaringen waar je de rest van je leven iets aan kunt hebben. Onze spelers kijken er enorm naar uit deelnemers uit andere landen te ontmoeten.
Denemarken is een hecht team. Ik denk wel dat je dat als onze grote kracht kunt zien. We hebben een geweldige teamspirit. We hebben twee coaches, beide oud-spelers. Dat is super inspirerend voor onze spelers. Zij zijn het levende bewijs dat je iets kunt bereiken als je écht wil.
En ik durf ook wel te zeggen dat we aardig kunnen voetballen. Door – of dankzij – de coronapandemie maken de spelers al heel lang deel uit van nationale team. Langer dan wel team dan ook. Dat is nog eens geluk bij een ongeluk.
We kijken er naar uit om Nederland nu eens in het echt te zien. Je hoort en leest natuurlijk van alles over jullie land, maar hoe is het nou echt? We kunnen niet wachten tot we in Nederland zijn.”

Denmark is eager
The European Life Goals Games 2021 will be held in September. In the coming period we will introduce you to various participating teams and players. Team Denmark kicks off. We interviewed teamleader Fie Biehl Rotheisen.
“It is a great experience for our players to participate in a big tournament. Also, it is an excellent opportunity for everyone to get to know people from other countries. Those are experiences that you can use for the rest of your life. Our players are really looking forward to meeting participants from other countries.
Denmark is a close-knit team. I think you can see that as our great strength. We have a great team spirit. We have two coaches, both former players. That is super inspiring for our players. They are living proof that you can achieve something if you really want to.
And I dare to say that we can play good football. Due to – or because of – the corona pandemic, the players have been part of the national team for a long time. Longer than any team. That’s a lucky accident.
We are looking forward to seeing the Netherlands in real life. Of course you hear and read all kinds of things about the country, but what is it really like? We can’t wait to get to the Netherlands.”
